The Mary Hulton Phillips Gallery at Butler County Community College is hosting the exhibit “Paintings by Bill Brunken” starting Wednesday and continuing through May 5. Call 724-287-8711, Ext. 8425.
Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., displays Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8. Guided tours are available with advance notice for no extra charge. The 26th annual Very Special Arts exhibit, hosted by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and the Citrone Fund, is set for Wednesday through April 17 in the Pew Fine Arts Gallery at Grove City College. The art was created by students with special needs from school districts in Butler, Lawrence, and Mercer counties. A reception will be from noon to 4 p.m. April 12. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free.
Red Brick Gallery, 17 Main St., Foxburg, presents a student art exhibit as part of an Arts Education Residency in the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District, from April 11 to 19.
