Woman cited after chickens cross road
MILLERSBURG — Why did the chickens cross the road? The answer may come in a Pennsylvania courtroom.
State police this week cited a chicken farm proprietor for disorderly conduct after a neighbor reported seeing some of her fowl acting out the age-old riddle.
Troopers say the chickens went AWOL Tuesday and wound up in the 26-year-old Millersburg man’s yard.
Anneliese Dorson, 23, faces up to 90 days in jail and up to a $300 fine if convicted.
Her Facebook profile lists one of her occupations as “at the chicken farm” and features dozens of pictures of chickens.
