June Mary Twentier
June Mary Twentier, 83, of Butler passed away Monday at her home.
She was born on June 2, 1931, in Muddycreek Township, the daughter of the late Lawrence John and Betra Grider Twentier.
June was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church.
She retired from Penn Champ after 45 years of service.
She enjoyed watching the Pirates and reading. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. June was a hard worker who always was doing for others.
Surviving are her son, Lawrence John (Sharon) Twentier of Butler; her granddaughter, Sabrina Twentier of Columbus, Ohio; her grandson, Travis (Mary) Twentier of Chicora; her great-grandchildren, Lexis and Dante Twentier; her longtime companion, Harry Bauer of Butler; her lifelong friend, Lucille Burke of Butler, and her numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah McFadden; her two brothers, Charles and Henry Twentier, and her two infant siblings.
Twentier— A Mass of Christian burial for June Mary Twentier, who passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.Contributions may be made in memory of June to the Butler Area Public Library, 218 N.
