JEFFERSON TWP — Concordia Lutheran Ministries has named Shawnee Neff to be the skilled nursing corporate consultant for the compliance team.
As part of her new position, she will serve as Concordia's internal expert on skilled nursing laws and regulations.
She will be responsible for high risk compliance areas of skilled nursing at Concordia's five skilled nursing facilities.
Neff came to Concordia's Cabot facility in 2001 as the registered nurse assessment coordinator. She has been the assistant director of nursing and director of nursing at Concordia at Cabot before becoming the director of case management.
Neff lives in Petrolia with her husband Rickie.
• n Dr. Matthew Glenn, medical director of the Grove City Medical Center's emergency department, has been appointed to the Charles Copeland Regional Trauma Council. Each committee member oversees a trauma program, with Dr. Glenn being the sole representative of a Level IV Trauma program. These members pool their resources to develop clinical guidelines for the care of trauma patients.• The National Association of Manufacturers has awarded Rep. Mike Kelly, R-3rd, of Butler the NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence at an event hosted by NAM member company PPG Industries in Cranberry Township.“Congressman Kelly has been a strong supporter of U.S. manufacturing and is well-deserving of this prestigious award,” said Bryan Iams, vice president of corporate and government affairs at PPG Industries.
