Symphony goes ‘Broadway’
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra presents its “Broadway Bound” concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Butler Intermediate High School auditorium.
Husband and wife vocalists Gary Mauer and Elizabeth Southard will be the guest performers.
Selections for the concert will include Broadway favorites from “Kiss Me Kate,” “Phantom of the Opera” and “My Fair Lady.”
Symphony music director and conductor Matthew Kraemer will present a pre-concert lecture at 6:30 p.m.

Maple sugaring program slated
BRADY TWP — Discover how sap taken from a maple tree becomes syrup at a 2 p.m. program March 22 at Jennings Environmental Education Center.
No registration is needed for this annual, free program.
An indoor presentation will be followed by a guided, outdoor walk featuring a working evaporator and a taste of real maple syrup. A vendor will be on hand to offer maple products.

Museums offer free admission
PITTSBURGH — Visitors to the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History can enjoy free admission from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays in March.
Normal parking fees apply. Parking is $6 per car after 5 p.m.
Free Thursday Nights in March are made possible by a gift from the Jack Buncher Foundation.
Admission to the Carnegie Museum of Art’s “Double Exposure” program tonight also is free.
