Health careers promoted
To encourage Grove City College pre-health students to consider often overlooked health care careers, Grove City Medical Center professionals presented a symposium on Feb. 19 at the college. About 45 students attended to hear about and discuss careers in speech pathology, advanced practice nursing, dietetics and physical therapy. Presenters from the hospital were Chris Motta, a registered nurse and soon to be nurse practitioner; Sara Lindsley, dietitian; Katy Hetz, speech therapist; and Jenna Cavolo, physical therapist.
