Jennings hosts beaver program

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center will offer a program about beavers from 5 to 7 p.m. March 1.

Staff will talk about the animal that has made its presence known again in the park after a decade of absence. A brief, indoor introduction will be followed by an outdoor walk to search for signs of recent activity.

Registration is not necessary for this free program.

Symphony does Broadway

Broadway performers Gary Mauer and Elizabeth Southard will perform for one night only with the Butler Symphony Orchestra for its “Broadway Bound” concert at 7:30 p.m. March 7 at Butler Intermediate High School.

Young actors in ‘Frankenstein’

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Musical Theater presents “Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein” March 5 to 15 at the Byham Theater, 101 Sixth St.
