State Police, Butler

8:04 p.m. Thursday — Crystal M. Anthony and Sarah L. Lowers, both of Parker, were charged with simple assault and harassment after they allegedly got into a fight at a home on Allegheny Church Road in Allegheny Township.

2:55 p.m. Wednesday — No one was injured when a bullet went through the wall of an occupied home in Muddy Creek Township.

State police believe unknown suspects were shooting at an old vehicle parked at 110 Stanford Road in Muddy Creek Township, adding it appears the vehicle was designed to be a target. However, a bullet traveled through the woods and across a field before hitting the wall of the home of Roy Kerry at 160 East Portersville Road.

The bullet went through the wall and struck a television stand before dropping on the floor. The incident is under investigation.

10:30 p.m. Tuesday — Leroy Miller, 26, of Muddy Creek Township was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly slammed the head of a 74-year-old woman on the floor of a home on Buttercup Lane in Brady Township.

Grove City Police

Thursday — Samantha L. West, 21, of Harrisville was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop on South Center Street.

Police said West was stopped for speeding and driving in the parking lane of the street.

Police said charges are pending at this time.
