Musical Theatre Guild hosts a music night at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the MTG building at the back of Memorial Park. Those attending may take a snack to share and beverages. Music will be by Rikki Stupka. Donations will be accepted.
Symphony has 2 concerts left
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra 2014-15 season has two more concerts remaining.
Broadway Bound, March 7
Celebrate Butler County with pianist Nanette Solomon, the Slippery Rock University Concert Choir, and the Collegiate Young Artist Competition winner, April 11.
Both concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Butler Intermediate High School’s auditorium.

A-C Valley hosts PMEA
FOXBURG — Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District will host the PMEA District 3 Jazz Band Festival Feb. 19 and 20th at the high school.
Twenty school districts represented by 54 students will participate.
The festival concert at 8 p.m. Feb. 19 will feature the Slippery Rock University Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo and free admission.
The PMEA District 3 Jazz Band Festival Concert will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 20; admission is $5.

Youth group gives concert
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra will present “Symphonic Poems,” a free concert, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave. Free tickets are required for admission and are available to download at www.pyso.us.
Ensemble to perform
JEFFERSON TWP — One Voice, a Christian vocal ensemble, will perform an Easter program at 7 p.m. March 22 at the Haven I dining room, 112 Marwood Road, on the Concordia campus.
The hour-long concert will feature a variety of music from classical to contemporary presented in conjunction with scripture passages and dramatic narration. Admission is free, and refreshments will be available.
