6:11 p.m. Sunday — Maudie Cochran, 25, of Kittanning was caught inside the Butler Commons Walmart, where he had previously been barred stemming from a shoplifting arrest last year. Police said Cochran is charged with trespass.9:57 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Hope Bartchy, 16, of Cabot and Nicholas Huff, 24, of Butler collided at Morton Avenue and McQuistion Road. Police said the girl was cited for a stop sign violation.6:11 p.m. Friday — Wesley E. Duperier, 22, of Butler was arrested after he was found with a syringe after being caught allegedly shoplifting two packages of bed sheets, valued at $99, at the Butler Commons' Walmart.Duperier, was arraigned on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail.6:38 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Alexis P. Allen, 18, of Slippery Rock rear-ended another vehicle on North Main Street at Belmont Road. Police cited Allen for driving at an unsafe speed. Beverly Antis, 66, of Butler was the other driver.Butler PoliceMonday — Police charged Clayton C. Fredley, 24, of Butler with fraudulently using another person's stolen bank debit card between Dec. 31 and Jan. 2.Fredley is charged with identity theft, illegal possession of an access device fraud and theft of lost or mislaid property.4:18 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Shirley Slater, 75, of Fredonia jumped a curb in the 200 block of West Main Street and struck a parked car that was occupied by Susan Bice, 65, of Grove City. That collision pushed Bice's vehicle into another parked car occupied by John Stamm, 77, of Slippery Rock.No injuries were reported.

Thursday — Robert A. Biedenbach, 55, of Summit Township was charged with three misdemeanors and six traffic tickets in connection with a suspected hit-and-run crash last month in Center Township that injured the other driver.Police said Biedenbach about 7:20 p.m. Jan. 3 was driving a pickup truck that crossed the double yellow line on Sunset Drive near Brandon Road and collided head-on with a sport utility vehicle driven by Nicole A. Mason, 33, of Butler.Mason told police that the suspect stopped long enough to ask her if she was all right before he drove off. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.Police later tracked down Biedenbach, who claimed he was not driving the truck, according to court documents. The defendant's wife, however, contradicted that claim.Biedenbach is charged with accidents involving injury, accidents involving injury while not properly licensed, and hit-and-run, all misdemeanors.Additionally, police cited him for driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle, disregarding traffic lanes, failing to stop and render aid after an accident, failing to notify police immediately after an accident and giving false information to police.Thursday — Police charged Eric T. Deal, 34, of Butler with stealing $80 from his 83-year-old grandmother earlier this month at a home on Meadowbrook Lane in Center Township. Deal allegedly took the money Feb. 1 or 2. He is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

Wednesday — Primanti Brothers restaurant on Route 208 at Interstate 79 in Springfield Township was cited for its fourth false alarm activation in the past year.
