Meghan Donovan and Michael Proia

An April 4 wedding is being planned by Meghan Donovan and Michael Proia, both of West Hartford, Conn.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jere and Novelle Donovan of Harrisville. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Bruce and Sharyn Proia of Newton, Mass.

The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and from the University of Florida in 2013.

She is employed by Groundwater and Environmental Services in Windsor, Conn.

Her fiance graduated in 2001 from Roxbury Latin School and from Hamilton College in 2005.

He is employed by ESPN in Bristol, Conn.
