These items have been collected from various police departments.

Butler Police

10:40 a.m. Thursday — Anthony F. King, 19, of Butler lost control of his car and it slid into a guardrail on Route 8 south at Pepperland Boulevard.

Thursday — An unidentified hit-and-run vehicle struck and badly damaged a car parked at a home in the 200 block of Second Street. The 2014 Ford Fiesta was hit on the driver’s side and had damage along on that entire side.

The police report noted there were metallic dark red paint chips in the side of the car, which were apparently left behind by the other vehicle.

Butler Twp. Police

Thursday — Police filed two felony charges against Korie J. Thompson, 41, of Butler in connection with her alleged effort to illegally obtain Adderall from the Institute Hill Pharmacy on Dec. 23.

Thompson is accused of altering a prescription for the medication often used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy.

She was arraigned on charges of forgery and attempted acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail following arraignment.

Thursday — Ronald K. Musick, 45, of Butler was charged after he was caught allegedly shoplifting $100 in merchandise from the Walmart store in Butler Commons. Musick is charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft.

10:13 p.m. Wednesday — Joshua D. Desmond, 24, of Butler lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail and Jersey barrier on Route 422. Police cited Desmond for driving too fast for conditions.

1:37 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Billy C. Gray, 71, of Saxonburg rear-ended another car that was stopped at a red light at Route 8 and Hansen Avenue. Police cited Gray for driving too fast for conditions. Shae Stobert, 18, of Butler was the other driver.

Grove City Police

10:42 p.m. Tuesday — Ryan N. Rodemoyer, 18, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on West Pine Street near South Broad Street.

Additionally, Rodemoyer and his passenger, Andrew Lee McCracken, 18, of Grove City both face charges of possession of marijuana and underage drinking.

Butler County Drug Task Force

Wednesday — Sean M. McDonald, 23, was charged with felony drug possession stemming from a task force investigation last year that turned up marijuana plants at his home in Slippery Rock Township.

Officers went to the home Dec. 2 and found four marijuana plants in the attic as well as small amounts of processed marijuana, several marijuana pipes, a digital scale and packaging materials.

Also at the home was Daniel A. Estes, 23, of Slippery Rock. Police previous charged him in connection with the investigation.

McDonald and Estes are both charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

State Police, Butler

4:55 p.m. Thursday — Shirley A. Homa, 74, of East Butler lost control of her car and crashed on Linwood Drive in East Butler. Police blamed the crash on icy road conditions.

8:35 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Shelby M. Scott, 23, and Brayden T. McCorry, 21, of Slippery Rock collided on Lions Road just south of South Benbrook Road in Center Township. Scott was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.

8:18 p.m. Wednesday — Vehicles driven by Justin C. Rhodes, 20, of Fredonia, Mercer County, and Brittany N. Pierce, 27, of Slippery Rock collided on Lions Road just south of South Benbrook Road in Center Township. Rhodes was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.

State Police, Mercer

6:40 p.m. Wednesday — One person was hurt when a car crashed into a snow plow in Worth Township, Mercer County.

Marguerite J. Wacker, 24, of Stoneboro told police that she saw the plow on Bradley Road a little of north Brown Road and applied her brakes but began to fishtail. The car struck hit the driver’s side corner of the plow before spinning around and hitting an embankment,

Wacker, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
