Society elects officers, trustees

ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Historical Society members elected officers and trustees to serve for 2015.

Officers re-elected to serve second terms are Janet Rogan, president; Linda Fallert, vice president; Jack McMichael, secretary; and Debbie Reeb, treasurer.

Elected trustees include John Silbert, Donald Burgess, Juanita Eppinger, Cathy Powell, Mary Kaye Soriano, Marietta Reeb, Sue Casker and Dick Powell.

The society’s upcoming events include the spring tea, the annual school tours and several membership meetings.

Grange banquet honors members

WEST SUNBURY — At its All Granger Banquet, Butler County Pomona Grange honored members for their years of service.

Jefferson Grange members recognized were Albert Martsolf for 50 years, Paul Dyer for 25 years, Kathryn Jones for 65 years, Howard Halstead for 70 years and Esther Stepanovich for 75 years.

Peg Sherbon of Donegal Grange was recognized for 35 years.

Howard Weir and Pat Weir of Unionville Grange each were recognized for 55 years.
