SV buys land within its secondary campus
JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School District recently bought land within the secondary campus.
It paid $100,000 for the one acre off Seneca School Road and the Connoquenessing Creek that has a two-story, three bedroom house and a detached garage.
The house was owned by Harold and Awynn Moyer at 114 Seneca School Road.
Linda Andreassi, the director of communications for the district, said, “At this time there are no plans in mind for the property. Any planning would go before the board since it would need board approval. I anticipate more discussion on this in the spring.”
The school board last year talked briefly about buying the property, saying it made sense because it already is within the secondary campus.
The property has been for sale off and on for several years.
