“CherryWare” by Christy Culp continues through Jan. 30 at The Art Center.

The Associated Artists of Butler County presents the three works that area artists entered in last year’s ArtPrize competition, “Sleeping Bear Dunes” by Dennis Keyes, “I Hear the Train a Comin’” by Tom Panei and “The Moment, Nails Endured” by Bill Secunda, through Saturday at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. Also, “CherryWare” by Christy Culp continues through Jan. 30; a closing reception is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 30. Admission is free. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Call 724-283-6922 or visit butlerartcenter.org.

Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host Celebrate the Maridon: Year of the Goat on Feb. 21 at Butler Country Club. A cash bar will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The evening will include entertainment and music for dancing. The event is black tie optional. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 W. Main St. rear, Saxonburg, has closed its doors after five years.
