The Associated Artists of Butler County presents the three works that area artists entered in last year’s ArtPrize competition, “Sleeping Bear Dunes” by Dennis Keyes, “I Hear the Train a Comin’” by Tom Panei and “The Moment, Nails Endured” by Bill Secunda, through Saturday at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. Also, “CherryWare” by Christy Culp continues through Jan. 30; a closing reception is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 30. Admission is free. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host Celebrate the Maridon: Year of the Goat on Feb. 21 at Butler Country Club. A cash bar will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The evening will include entertainment and music for dancing. The event is black tie optional.
