Suspect allegedly dealt drugs

State police seize evidence at house

FRANKLIN TWP — A suspected drug dealer wanted on a warrant for allegedly selling heroin faces additional charges after arresting officers found him with an assortment of narcotics and other contraband.

Among the evidence state police seized Wednesday at Justin M. Angerett’s home on Unionville Road in Franklin Township was more than 100 bags of suspected heroin, according to court documents.

Angerett is in the Butler County Prison on $40,000 bail. He faces felony and other charges in the pair of separate cases filed this week.

Investigators said Angerett last March sold five stamp bags of heroin to a police informant during a controlled drug buy at a store in Franklin Township.

Police vice officers later charged Angerett with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. District Judge Tim Shaffer in turn issued an arrest warrant Wednesday.

Armed with the warrant, police went to Angerett’s house and caught him there. He was searched and found with 10 bags of suspected heroin, a small baggie of suspected marijuana and six Suboxone strips, documents said.

Additionally, he was carrying a glass smoking pipe, syringe and spoon.

Officers also searched Angerett’s bedroom at the home where he lives with his mother. In the room, documents said, police found 108 bags of suspected heroin, seven pipes, several syringes, two marijuana grinders and two digital scales.

He is charged in that case with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
