Robbie Montgomery

In loving memory of our beloved Robbie Montgomery whose birthday is January 9, 1992.

Today is my son Robbie’s birthday. he would have been 23. He has been gone for 10 years. 10 years feels like some kind of milestone. 10 years feels like forever. But someday I know I will see him again.

Robbie believed in the Lord Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. That means he is in Heaven. And since I believe the same thing I will see him again. I will get to hold his hand again. I will get to see him smile. I will get to talk to him and ask him how he has been. I will get to walk down the streets of gold with my son. And there will be no more tears.

Yes, someday I will not cry because I miss Robbie. Someday I will forget I lost my son. Someday. This truly is a miracle, Jesus offers Heaven to anyone who asks for it. Free of charge. You don’t need money or fame or notoriety. You just need to ask.
