EMLENTON — The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton has hired Robert W. Pater as assistant vice president, commercial loan officer.
In this position, Pater will be responsible for business relationships in the Grove City and Butler markets.
He has more than 15 years of financial lending experience.
He has a degree in Business Administration from Grove City College.
Pater is a board member of the Pittsburgh Petroleum Association in Pittsburgh and former board member for the Dunbar Community Center in Butler.
He is a member of the American Subcontractors Association in Pittsburgh, the Butler Chamber of Commerce and Alle-Kiski Chamber of Commerce.
He lives in Allegheny County with his family.
The Butler County Chamber of Commerce this month elected officers and new members to serve on its board starting in 2015.Officers will be: Chair Aubery Hulings with Farmers National Bank; 1st Vice Chair Elisabeth Howard-Sommers with C.W. Howard Insurance Agency; 2nd Vice Chair Frank Girardi with Northwest Savings Bank; and Treasurer Dan Swartz with ESB Bank.Brian McCafferty with Kenmac Rentals & Sales will serve as immediate past chair.Newly elected directors serving two-year terms are Cecelia Buechele-Foster with the Community Health Clinic of Butler County, Keith Graham with the Butler Eagle and Jill Swenson with Stantec.In addition, representatives from affiliate groups of the chamber also were appointed to the board.Howard-Sommers represents Leadership Butler County while Jen Whitmoyer with Lifesteps represents the Slippery Rock Business Association.Departing directors are Sandra Kriley with Concordia Visiting Nurses, Janice Pakozdi-Luffy with Bear Metallurgical and John Trant Jr. with HRG Inc.In addition, Past Chairman Tammy Schuey with the Butler Eagle left the board.
