The Associated Artists of Butler County group presents the Christmas Art Show and Sale through Jan. 3 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. The exhibit from Jan. 7 to 24 will be the works of the three Butler area artists who recently participated in ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, Mich.: Dennis Keyes, Tom Panei and Bill Secunda. That reception will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Jan. 10. An origami class is planned for Jan. 10. The center will close at 3 p.m. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., displays Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8. Guided tours are available with advance notice for no extra charge. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 W. Main St. rear, in Saxonburg, is presenting “Daily Ritual: A Ceramic Cup Show” through Saturday. Admission is free. Gallery hours are noon to 8 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays. Call 412-260-5779.

PITTSBURGHCarnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents a Burns Bash on Jan. 16 at the Pittsburgh Golf Club. Robert Burns, widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, was the favorite poet of museum founder Andrew Carnegie. Guests of the dinner will be treated to a Scottish strolling supper and dessert buffet, whiskey tasting, music, bag piper, highland dancers, silent auction and souvenir photograph. Tickets are $125.
