Trinity Jazz Orchestra will present a benefit Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College, Butler Township. The concert also will feature American Idol 2011 semi-finalist Adam Brock as well as the Tornado Big Band and Butler Senior High School Choir. Tickets are $20 for adults and $9 for children with a $50 family ticket available for two adults and up to four children. Get tickets at May's Music Shoppe, Fudoli's Music, Butler High School, and the Community Health Clinic. All proceeds will benefit the Community Health Clinic.
The Sacred Music Choir, accompanied by organ, brass and strings, will perform a concert of classical Christmas anthems and carols at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Anglican Church, East Jefferson Street. In addition to the choral music, Clarissa Boden will play two Christmas favorites on the glass harmonica. A reception will follow the concert. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
Union High School will be the site of the annual Christmas concert featuring the junior and senior high school bands at 7 p.m. today. Admission is free, but donations of nonperishable food will be collected for area food banks. Call 814-473-3121.
