PITTSBURGH — Allegheny Valley Hospital recently recognized Jeanne Lefever of Saxonburg as its recipient for the Cameos of Caring Program Award.
She was nominated by her colleagues and was recognized at the 16th Cameos of Caring Program and Awards Gala Nov. 8 at the David L. Lawrence Convention center.
The Cameos of Caring Program honors exceptional bedside nurses. Each participating facility selects one nurse as its recipient.
Lefever is a staff nurse in the hospital's emergency department. She graduated from Butler County Community College and has been a certified emergency nurse since 1983.
She is a member of Saxonburg Memorial Church and the Emergency Nurses Association, and she was an EMT with the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department.

n Mars National Bank staff donated 27 coats and $240 through the Bundle up Butler campaign as part of the United Way of Butler County Day of Caring. On the Day of Caring, nine bank employees volunteered to help distribute more than 760 coats to more than 300 people.
Marmon/Keystone, a wholesale distributor of tubular products, has announced two promotions.Randy Bono has advanced from inside sales manager at its East Butler office to purchasing manager at its corporate office in Butler, responsible for stainless and aluminum products.He started with Marmon/Keystone in 1989 as a sales trainee, and then moved to inside sales, account manager, white metals product manager and carbon product manager.He obtained his bachelor's in marketing from Slippery Rock College. Bono and his wife, Tina, have one son and one daughter and live in Butler.Chris Lehman was promoted from fluid power product manager to inside sales manager at Marmon/Keystone's East Butler branch, overseeing the inside staff in East Butler, Cleveland, Hebron, Ky., New Castle, Del., and Rochester, NY.He started with the company in corporate telemarketing in 1995, then became the telemarketing supervisor before relocating to the East Butler branch.He has a marketing degree from Grove City College and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh's Katz School of Business.Lehman and his wife, Amy, have one son and live in Butler.
EMLENTON — Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $15,000 to the Butler County Community College Education Foundation under the state Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.“We are proud to know that any support we provide goes to improving the overall education for students and the betterment of the community,” said William March, board chairman, president and CEO of the bank.
