5:13 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Joshua Flick, 21, of Worthington, Armstrong County, struck a deer on New Castle Road in front of Looney Tunes. The car was badly damaged and the injured deer had to be destroyed.Sunday — Stephen S. McClintock, 25, of Butler was arrested on charges he stole four computers, valued at a combined $2,395, from the Walmart at Butler Commons during the past several days.McClintock was arraigned on a felony count of retail and four misdemeanor counts of receiving stolen property. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $30,000 bail following arraignment.3:20 p.m. Saturday — Tina Budner, 44, of Cabot was caught allegedly shoplifting $21.47 in merchandise from the Trader Horn at Greater Butler Mart. Police said she is charged with retail theft.8:26 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Derek E. Harnish, 23, of Renfrew and Tori Lark, 21, of Valencia collided at Benbrook Road and Greenwood Drive. Harnish was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor head injuries.Police cited Harnish for driving with a suspended license, making an improper left turn and careless driving.4 p.m. Nov. 1 — Wayne E. Williams, 51, of Butler and a 16-year-old boy, who police did not identify, were caught on private posted land on Sawmill Run Road. Police cited both for trespass.Oct. 20 — A 17-year-old Butler boy was caught shoplifting an Xbox video game controller and media remote from the Walmart at Butler Commons. Police did not identify the boy, who is charged with retail theft. The stolen property is valued at $82.

Monday — Someone overnight broke into a car on Tidball Avenue and stole about $15 in change.Friday — An unknown vandal between 7:30 and 8 p.m. damaged all four tires of a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the 100 block of West Poplar Street. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.1:20 p.m. Wednesday — Jason W. Casteel, 36, of New Wilmington was arrested on two warrants following a traffic stop on Rainey Avenue near East Main Street. Casteel was wanted by the Mercer County Domestic Relations Office and by Greenville police for trespassing charges.The suspect was placed in the Mercer County Jail. Police also cited him for driving with a suspended license.

Monday — Police issued four traffic tickets to Tricia L. Bryan, 30, of Chicora stemming from a one-vehicle crash about 11:30 a.m. Oct. 21 on Center Drive in Concord Township.Bryan lost control of her sport utility vehicle around a bend in the road and overturned about one-half mile west of Seven Hills Road. The SUV ended on its roof and Bryan had to be extricated. She was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.Police cited her for driving at an unsafe speed, driving on the wrong side of the road, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt.2:55 p.m. Saturday — An unknown man allegedly tried to lure a girl into his pickup truck on Route 268 in Petrolia. The girl told police that the man approached her and asked if she wanted a ride. The child ran away.The man is described as white, in his 50s, with a beard. He was driving a teal and white, older model Ford F-150 with a cap. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.
