CRANBERRY TWP — A night detour will be in place on Freedom Road from Connector Street to Route 19 when the road will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday to install overhead sign structures.

It may be necessary to close the road on Friday night to finish the installation, according to the state Department of Transportation. The detour uses Executive Drive, Cranberry Square Drive and Route 19.

This is part of the Route 19/Freedom Road/Route 228 intersection improvement project.

This $3.6 million project is expected to be finished this month.
