James Felix Schuey

James Felix Schuey, 71, of Kittanning passed away Monday at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

He was born on June 18, 1943, in Kittanning to the late Felix “Sonny” Schuey and Mary “Betty” Fulkman Schuey.

James retired as a laborer at Agway, then he drove for Barker Bus.

He was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian.

He enjoyed traveling and spending weekends at camp in Cook Forest. He also enjoyed spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Janet McAuley Schuey of Cedar Drive, Kittanning; his sons, David “Chris” Schuey and his wife, Karen, and Clint Schuey and his wife, Jackie, all of Kittanning; his daughter-in-law, Tammy Schuey of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Stacey, Tawnya, Randy, Zack, Travis, Sarah and Logan; his great-grandchildren, Dillon, Karissa, Morgan, Kayden, Anthony, Ethan and Ezra; his sister, Susan Smith and her husband, Russell, of Greensboro, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Frank Schuey, and his grandson, James Frank Schuey Jr.

Schuey — The friends of James Felix Schuey, who passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 280 St. Marks Road, Adrian, with the Pastor Arlyn Eisenbrandt officiating.
