LYNDORA — Sunday will be the final day to order food from the Oct. 18 Ethnic Food Festival at SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 21 Evergreen St.

The festival will be from 10 a.m. until supplies sell out and will feature pierogies, halupkis and haluski.

Benefit will aid 5-year-old girl

A benefit from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. Oct. 17 at The Brick House, 118 N. Main St., will help Nevaeh Rose Green, who has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She was born 17 weeks premature in 2009.

The benefit will raise money for special equipment and therapy Nevaeh needs to become more independent.
