In loving memory of my son Derek DiGregorio on his 33rd birthday today October 8.

One of the happiest days of my life was 33 years ago,

When you came into this world,

And taught me of a love that before I did not know.

You brought me countless memories

That continue to comfort my heavy heart

So although you are not here,

I know that we are never truly apart

And though you have spent you birthday in Heaven

For 11 years prior to this one

Today is extra special Derek

Because I know Grandpa is happy to be celebrating with his only grandson
