GRADUATES
Sarah Elizabeth Protzman Cook of Butler graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University Rangos School of Health Sciences with a master's degree in physician assistant studies.
While at Duquesne, she was a member of the academic honor societies Phi Eta Sigma, Lambda Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi. She held leadership positions in these organizations.
She also was a member of the Physician Assistant Student Association and served as president, event co-coordinator and blood drive chairman.
She volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and breast cancer awareness activities.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Cook is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of Kenneth Cook and Sandra Protzman-Cook of Butler.

Kristen Kowalik Rattigan of Butler received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University.
She graduated from Butler High School in 2008. In 2011, she received an associate degree in nursing from Butler County Community College.
Rattigan is a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital. She also is studying for a master's degree at Carlow University to become a family nurse practitioner.
She is married to Tyler Rattigan and is the daughter of Paul and MaryAnn Kowalik of Butler.
