4:57 p.m. Thursday — One woman was injured after a two-car accident forced her car to hit a building near the intersection of East Birch and South McKean streets.Amy B. Horne, 44, of Butler was attempting to turn left onto South McKean Street when her car collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Sandra K. Allen, 69, of Butler.The impact forced Allen's car to crash into Cub's Hall, causing minor damage to the building's bricks.Allen reported neck pain and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Neither driver was cited.

5:14 p.m. Aug. 11 — John Tirk of Butler was driving along Route 8 near the Bon Aire Plaza when he realized his car was on fire.Tirk pulled off into the parking lot of the North Main Street Church of God, where firefighters from Butler Township Fire District 3 extinguished the flames.The car was not drivable and was towed from the scene.

12:42 a.m. Friday — An 18-year-old male was arrested for suspected DUI after police witnessed him driving erratically on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.Police said the driver showed signs of intoxication. Charges are pending a blood test.Three other passengers in the vehicle will be charged with underaged drinking.Police did not release the names of those involved.9:42 p.m. Tuesday — Matthew D. Kotomski, 18, of Butler lost control of his car while going around a curve on North Road in Franklin Township and crashed down an embankment.Police said Kotomski was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle. His car rolled several times before striking a tree and landing upright.Kotomski was taken to a hospital for minor injuries. He was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.5:50 p.m. Tuesday — Virginia L. Hulbert, 58, of Butler lost control of her car on an exit ramp off Route 422 in Summit Township and struck a concrete traffic island.Hulbert's car continued to travel east after impact and struck a traffic sign.Hulbert was not injured and was cited for driving at unsafe speeds.4:56 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by David L. Ramsey, 70, of Zelienople struck a culvert along Harmony Road in Connoquenessing Township.Police said Ramsey lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason.Ramsey's car sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. He was cited for a lane violation.Monday — Unknown suspects broke into Butler Forge and Metal Works in East Butler during the weekend and stole an unknown amount of metal and aluminum.The suspects entered the building by removing a screen and window in the rear bathroom.Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 724-284-8100.

4:08 p.m. Thursday — A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Route 68 and 3rd Street in East Brady.Angela M. Burtner, 50, of East Brady was attempting to turn onto Route 68 when her car struck a vehicle driven by Mildred M. Best, 86, of Rimersburg.Best suffered minor injuries and was taken to Clarion Hospital. Burtner was cited for improperly entering a road.

1 p.m. Wednesday — Abby Tobias, 26, of Grove City was arrested for suspected DUI after she crashed her car into a utility pole along North Broad Street near Erie Street.Police said Tobias was allegedly under the influence of a prescription drug. Charges are pending.Her vehicle was towed from the scene.Tuesday — Someone tried to enter a residence along the 200-block of State Street by prying open a window with a piece of wood. Anyone with information is asked to contact Grove City Police at 724-458-7925.
