ROBINETTES SET RECORD

The Robinettes, a marching unit with girls age 8 to 16 sponsored by Prospect Volunteer Fire Company, set a corps record in August 1974. By placing first in a parade at Brookline, the corps captured eight first-place titles in a row and on Aug. 15, at Somerset, were named Western Pennsylvania Champions. From left, section heads are Sandy Martonik, bells; Connie Wiles, color guard; Debbie Kaiser, twirler; Kathi St. Clair, majorette; Sue Glace, triple drum; Cindy Wilson, snare drum; and Joanna Atkinson, marchers.
