Army National Guard Sgt. Maj. Nicholas Lazor was appointed as Army command sergeant major for the 103rd Engineer battalion, Fort Mifflin Armory near Philadelphia.

Lazor is the son of Nick and Kay Lazor of Pittsburgh and husband of Sandy Lazor of Harrisburg.

A 1987 graduate of Vincentian High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1994 from Slippery Rock University.

Air Force Airman Blake Lambermont graduated from basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Lambermont is the son of Donna Wampler of West Sunbury and Charles Lambermont of Butler. He is also the stepson of John Wampler of West Sunbury and of Georgie Lambermont of Butler. He graduated in 2008 from Moniteau High School.

Captain Christopher Noullet, son of the Rev. Steve and Cathy Noullet of Butler, completed commissioned officer training at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama on Aug. 1.

He is beginning a one-year residency in clinical psychology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

He resides in the Dayton area with his wife, Lauren, and his daughter, Addy.

Pfc. Michelle Swigart, who completed Marine Corps basic training at Parris Island, S.C., and Marine combat training at Camp Geiger, N.C., reported for training as an electronics technician to Twentynine Palms, Calif.

She is a 2013 graduate of Butler High School and is the daughter of John and Lois Swigart of Butler.
