MARS — Mars Area Public Library will offer “Science in the Summer — Simple Machines” presented by the Carnegie Science Center from July 21 to 24 at the library, 107 Grand Ave.

The program is a free and fun experiment-oriented course. Students will be introduced to the basics of physics of simple machines and have an opportunity to build them.

Session 1 for grades 2 to 4 will be from 10 to 11 a.m.

Session 2 for grades 5 and 6 will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
