Thursday — Lamaya J. Blackwell, 18, of Pittsburgh was arrested on felony charges after police were called for a street fight in the 300 block of Walker Avenue.Police found Blackwell, who gave officers two phony names. He appeared to be intoxicated, according to court documents. A search turned up a suspected marijuana pipe in a shorts pocket.Blackwell later was taken to the Butler County Prison, where he was searched again. This time, he was found with 20 stamp bags of suspected heroin. He told authorities that he does not use heroin.He was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, false identification to police, public drunkenness and underage drinking. He is in the prison on $250,000 bail.

Friday — A woman reported that $300 was taken from her purse sometime between June 19 and Thursday. She believed the money was stolen from Hillview School. Police are investigating.

1:09 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Colten M. Raabe, 17, of Butler and a car driven by Shane P. Morgan, 28, of Slippery Rock collided at Halston and Beaver Dam roads in Clay Township. Raabe was cited for improperly entering an intersection.Saturday — A thief stole about $200 from a 19-year-old Butler man's wallet at Garfield's Restaurant at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. The money was taken between 4 and 10 p.m.June 25 — A burglar broke into an undisclosed location on Lake Arthur Drive in Muddy Creek Township. The break-in happened between June 1 and 25.7:02 a.m. June 10 — A sport utility vehicle driven by Dianna G. Breski, 31, of Worthington, Armstrong County, rear-ended a truck on Route 422 just west of McGrady Road in Clearfield Township. Breski was cited far careless driving. David A. Fairman, 58, of Creekside, Indiana County, was driving the truck.

1:20 p.m. Monday — Three people were hurt in a three-vehicle wreck in East Franklin Township. The crash happened when a sport utility vehicle driven by Frances M. Rosenberger, 33, of Huntington, W.Va., rear-ended a pickup truck at the Route 422 east on-ramp and Route 28.The collision forced the pickup driven by Ruth E. Bracken, 66, of Kittanning into the back of car driven by Mary L. Starr, 82, of Kittanning.All three drivers, all wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.Rosenberger and Bracken were treated at the scene, and Starr was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin. Rosenberger was cited or following too closely to another vehicle.
