5:43 a.m. Wednesday — Michael T. Holuba, 38, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly got inside Dawn Shoup's apartment, in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue, in violation of her protection from abuse order against him.Stroup told police she had awakened that morning and heard a noise in the apartment. When she opened the door to a spare bedroom, she found Holuba standing inside, according to court documents.The defendant left before officers got there. Police noted there was no sign of forced entry into the apartment.Police later found Holuba near St. Michael's Church on Center Avenue. He admitted to violating the PFA, documents said. Officers searched him and found a key to Stroup's apartment in his shorts pocket.Holuba was arraigned on a charge of trespass, a felony, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.

3 p.m. Wednesday — Two women were hurt when a vehicle driven by Maria Soldner, 20, of Butler rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped in traffic on Whitestown Road near Home Avenue. Soldner and the other driver, Sandra Burns, 59, of Evans City, both suffered minor injuries.3:40 p.m. Tuesday — Joshua Rock, 20, of Lyndora and Shanna Housekeeper, 22, of Bruin were charged with disorderly conduct following a disturbance at the Walmart parking lot at Butler Commons.

4:05 a.m. Thursday — George P. Hazlett Jr., 24, of Cabot was arrested after he allegedly kicked and head-butted two troopers while being placed in the back of a cruiser at a home on Cornetti Road in Winfield Township. Police were initially called to the home for a reported domestic dispute.Neither trooper was injured. Police suspect that the defendant was intoxicated on alcohol and prescription drugs at the time.Hazlett was arraigned on two counts of aggravated assault, a felony, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.

4:30 p.m. Thursday — An unidentified man in his 20s or 30s is accused of grabbing a 9-year-old boy in the restroom of the Walmart on West Main Street in Pine Township and pulling him into a stall.The boy began screaming and managed to run out and find his father nearby. The boy was not hurt.Only moments earlier, the father left the same restroom with the alleged victim's 6-year-old brother.The suspect fled the front of the store and ran into the woods in back. Troopers and Grove City police searched the area but were unable to find the man.Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-662-6162.
