8:53 p.m. Tuesday — A Butler woman faces charges after she suffered an apparent heroin overdose on the General Richard Butler Bridge on Route 8 south.Police were called for an unresponsive female on the bridge sidewalk and found 23-year-old Tasha N. Saeler. Medical crews for the city fire department and Butler Ambulance Service were already treating her when officers arrived.Saeler was revived and admitted “shooting up” heroin three hours earlier, according to a police report. Police said they found two syringes in her pocket. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for further treatment.Police said she is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.5:27 p.m. Tuesday — Cody Lee Reynolds, 28, no known address, is accused of violating a protection from abuse order after confronting his mother, 62-year-old Jamie M. Reynolds of Butler, while she worked at the YWCA on West Cunningham Street.A police report said Reynolds was “loud and argumentative” with his mother. He faces a charge of indirect criminal contempt.

Tuesday — Police charged Billy Abrams, 33, of Butler with hounding the resident of a home in the 100 block of Boyd Drive from 10 p.m. May 12 and 4 a.m. May 13. Abrams faces charges of loitering and prowling at night and harassment.

Friday — Two Beaver County women were arraigned on charges they shoplifted $600 worth of cosmetics from the Walmart on May 25.Salena M. Krepps, 31, of Aliquippa and Alanna R. Darroch, 23, of Rochester allegedly swiped the items from the Route 19 store while Darroch's 2-year-old daughter was with them, according to court documents.Police said the women later ran out of the store with the child and speeded away in a car. Store surveillance video eventually helped identify the suspects.Krepps, who has four prior convictions for shoplifting, is charged with felony counts of retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, and receiving stolen property. Darroch faces misdemeanor counts of those same charges.Additionally, both women are charged with corruption of minors and child endangerment. They each are free on nonmonetary bail.
