Ethel M. Fulton

Ethel M. Fulton, 101, formerly of Harrisville, passed away Sunday at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City.

A daughter of the late John F. and Anna Belle Fleming Koepke Sr., she was born in Pittsburgh on May 7, 1912.

She was a graduate of Peabody High School.

Ethel was employed as a bank teller for Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh before moving to Harrisville in 1974. She then worked 15 years for N. Lee Ligo Associates of Slippery Rock.

Mrs. Fulton had been an active member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Esther Ruth Circle and served as church treasurer. She had been a member of the Eastern Star in Grove City and volunteered for the Northern Butler County Food Pantry.

On Nov. 26, 1956, she married William D. Fulton. He passed away on April 16, 1971.

Surviving are her brother, John F. Koepke Jr. of Bethel Park; her two stepdaughters, Audrey J. Fulton and Mrs. Carl (Dolores) Nelson, both of McKeesport; her several stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth K. Blohm.

Fulton, who passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville, with her nephew the Rev. John F. “Jack” Koepke and the Rev. Dr. John C. McElwain, her former pastor, officiating.Interment will follow in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Harmony Presbyterian Church, P.O.
