MONROEVILLE — A student wounded during the mass stabbing at Franklin Regional High School last month has been discharged from the hospital.

Forbes Hospital said in an e-mailed statement that Connor Warwick was released Monday evening.

He has been hospitalized since the April 9 attack.

Forbes Hospital said one student remains in fair condition.

Sixteen-year-old Alex Hribal is charged as an adult with 21 counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault and a school weapons violation. Police said he attacked students and a security guard in a hallway just before the morning bell.

MCKEES ROCKS — A woman shot in the head while sitting in her living room wasn't the intended target of a gunman, who was allegedly aiming from outside her home at someone standing in front of a neighboring house.Allegheny County police on Monday arrested 21-year-old Oneal Olive, of Mount Oliver. He is charged with attempted homicide and other charges. Police have yet to release the name of the 60-year-old woman who was critically wounded about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in her Stowe Township home.County Lt. Andrew Schurman said police have also charged Olive with aggravated assault, weapons violations, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

PHILADELPHIA — Health officials in Philadelphia are warning about a deadly mix of heroin and the powerful narcotic fentanyl that has killed dozens of people in recent months.The city Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability said Monday that the drug cocktail is being blamed for the deaths of least 28 people in the city this year, with most of the fatalities happening between March 3 and April 20. The department is awaiting test results on seven more people.Roland Lamb of the Philadelphia Health Department said officials are trying to get the word out about by distributing an alert to hospitals.
