The Battle of New Market, Va., will be the topic of a talk at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Butler YWCA, 120 W. Cunningham St.

Sponsored by the Butler County Civil War Roundtable, the event will be presented by Charles R. Knight of Richmond, Va. Knight was a historical interpreter at New Market Battlefield State Historical Park and now serves as the curator of the Douglas MacArthur Memorial.
