Dorothy Stevenson

Dorothy M. Stevenson, 83, of Butler passed away at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home.

She was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Butler to the late George Williams and Sarah (Zellerino) Williams Greer.

Mrs. Stevenson was a homemaker and a member of GraceWay Community Church. She enjoyed reading and fishing. Mrs. Stevenson loved her family and her dog, Ginger. She touched many lives with her loving ways.

Mrs. Stevenson is survived by her husband, Donald K. Stevenson, who she married Aug. 5, 1950; one son, Richard K. Stevenson and his wife, Lucy, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two daughters, Sharon Lynn Sgro and her husband, James, of Butler and Beverly Stevenson and her long-time companion, Dennis Felitsky, of Bruin; five grandchildren, Michelle M. Ulanowicz and her husband, Sean, Kimberly J. Morgan and her husband, Neil, Kristy A. Delancey and her husband, Richard, Olivia Louise Stevenson and Benjamin Keith Stevenson; five great-grandchildren, Trisha Marie Velmirovich, Tyler Joseph Ulanowicz, Casey Elizabeth Ulanowicz, Crystal Rose Morgan and Dylan Martin Delancey; one great-great-grandchild, Liliana Rose Morgan; one brother, James L. Williams and his wife, Iva; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Greer; one brother, Leroy Williams; and one sister, Betty Bayer.

STEVENSON — Friends of Dorothy M. Stevenson, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be immediately following at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Martin Hardy, retired, officiating.
