Liz Wertz Evans, a Cranberry Township resident whose 14-year-old daughter died in 2001 and whose organs were transplanted into others, is scheduled to testify before the state House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Wertz, a registered nurse for more than 30 years, will speak in support of a bill to educate students from high school through medical school on the value of organ donation.

House Bill 30 is called the Donate Life PA Act.
