Participants practice moving a person needing medical treatment during an emergency training exercise at Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church on Friday. A dozen people from across the United States received several days of emergency preparedness training last week at the church in Middlesex Township. The participants, mainly doctors and nurses, will make use of the training during mission trips to countries that have natural disasters. Training topics included land mine awareness, safe food and water issues and cultural awareness.
