Sunday — Michael S. Fitzpatrick, 20, of Butler was arrested a day after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and assaulted her.Fitzpatrick is accused of forcing his way into Breawna McKain's house in the 500 block of West Diamond Street, shoving her and smashing furniture and her cell phone, according to a police report.McKain was not hurt. Damage was estimated at between $500 and $1,000.The suspect was gone by the time police got there. Officers looked for but could not find him.Shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday, he appeared at the police station and turned himself in.Fitzpatrick was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment on charges of burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief.10:46 a.m. Sunday — Justina J. Rivera, 27, faces a charge of hit-and-run after she allegedly backed her car into a neighbor's parked car in the 300 block of West Fulton Street. Another neighbor saw the accident.Police said when they confronted Rivera, she denied hitting the car.3:15 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Evan T. Andreassi, 17, of Summit Township and Susan J. Broman, 61, of Jefferson Township collided at South Monroe Street and Lincoln Avenue.12:59 p.m. Friday — A bicyclist who had too much to drink was injured when he accidentally pedaled into the back of a car stopped at a red light at the three-way intersection of South Chestnut, West Cunningham and Race streets.Herman R. Fulton, 51, of Butler was riding northbound on South Chestnut Street when he hit the back of the car driven by Katelynn E. Williams, 21, of Chicora.The impact knocked him onto the road where he hit his head. A 55-year-old Chicora man who was riding in the car got out and helped Fulton to his feet.But in return, according to a police report, Fulton allegedly flipped off the man and rode off.Police later found Fulton nearby at the Cigarette Shop. He was bleeding from the head and smelled of alcohol, the report said. His bike was damaged from the crash.Fulton was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Police said he faces a charge of public drunkenness.

9:30 p.m. Saturday — Lonnie W. Felix Jr., 38, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a 14-year-old Mercer County girl at a home on Demi Lane in Clay Township. Police did not identify the girl, from Sandy Lake, who suffered minor neck and arm injuries.Felix was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail. He is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Sunday — Police reported that a 26-year-old Sharon man is suspected of borrowing a vehicle April 27 from a 55-year-old Rimersburg woman and not returning it. Police did not identify the suspect, who faces a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.April 10 — An unknown thief stole railroad plates from A&K Railroad Materials Inc. on Route 68 in Toby Township.

9:48 p.m. Friday — A teenager was hurt when she swerved her car to avoid a deer and drove into a house in Springfield Township.Alexis D. Crawford, 18, of New Wilmington, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.

3:40 a.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Gary L. Baxter, 66, of New Castle struck a deer head-on on Ellwood Road just north of Oak Grove Lane in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Thursday — A burglar made off with assorted tools from a truck, trailer and barn at a home in the 500 block of Hogue Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Police did not say if they have a suspect in the break-in that happened between April 24 and Thursday.
