The Seneca Valley softball team took another step toward the Section 3-AAAA crown Friday night.

Nikki Matz struck out five in seven innings pitched to help the Raiders beat Pine-Richland 13-8 on the road.

Jess Nell singled twice and doubled, while Cassi Bachik had two doubles for the Raiders (11-2, 9-2).
