WEST SUNBURY — There will be a basket bingo fundraiser on May 10 in the cafeteria of Dassa McKinney Elementary School, 391 Hooker Road. Doors open at 1 p.m. and bingo begins at 2 p.m.

Concessions will be available and there will be a raffle.

Proceeds will benefit the Moniteau Education Association Scholarship Fund.

Miller Lodge No. 769, will host an event of appreciation and recognition for first responders in Butler and the surrounding communities at 1 p.m. May 17 at the Butler Masonic Temple, 346 S. Main St.All are welcome to join in honoring the state and local police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and 911 providers.
