6:30 p.m. Thursday — Keith Anthony Jr., 30, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting a pair of blue jeans at the JC Penney store at Clearview Mall in Center Township. Police said Anthony was cited for retail theft and disorderly conduct.2 a.m. Thursday — Justin M. Sanderson, 24, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 138 near Shroyer Mill Road in Clay Township.3:56 p.m. Wednesday — Matthew Alan Lieberum, no age or address given, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he crashed into the concrete barriers in front of Whyte's Comet Market at Routes 368 and 268 in Parker, Armstrong County.Sunday — Copper piping valued at $500 was stolen in a burglary at a Sun Mine Road home in Clinton Township. The burglar got inside by breaking a basement door. The burglary happened between April 15 and Sunday.April 24 — Police charged Sonja Myers, 46, of Ford City with criminal mischief in connection with a shed fire April 10 on Manor Drive in Manor Township, Armstrong County. Police said their investigation determined that Myers' unattended burn barrel fire accidentally spread to the 12-by-30-foot shed.Damage to the shed was estimated at $15,000.

Wednesday — An unknown vandal threw bricks at three mailboxes on Worthington Slatelick Road in North Buffalo Township. All the mailboxes were damaged in the vandalism that occurred between 3 and 4 p.m.10:53 p.m. Saturday — John Haye, 50, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck sideswiped a sport utility vehicle on Route 68 near Queenstown Road in Bradys Bend Township. Vanessa Bartoe, 20, of Shippenville, Clarion County, was driving the SUV.3:45 p.m. April 25 — A pickup truck driven by Kent R. Morey, 60, of Kittanning and a car driven by Katelynn E. Williams, 21, of Chicora collided on Nichola Road just south of Conerty Road in West Franklin Township. Police said Morey was cited for improperly entering or crossing a road.
