Blake Thompson and Zach Sicher led a blistering attack in the Mars boys lacrosse team's 20-10 Division II-Section 3 win Wednesday night at home.

Thompson scored a game-high eight goals, while Sicher had five. Hunter Mincer (three goals), Mitch Corsi and Gino Crognale also scored for the Planets.

Owen Vasbinder had a game-high three assists.

Bella Alampi led a balanced Mars attack with five goals in an 18-4 win over Vincentian at home. The Planets led 12-1 at halftime.Shannon Doyle (three goals), Tori Kopchak (two), Cassy Buzzelli (two) and Kelly O'Connell (two) also scored multiple goals for Mars. Doyle added three assists.
