East Brady — The East Brady Beautification Group will help the community say goodbye to winter at its 6th annual plant sale from 8 a.m. to noon May 24 at the United Methodist Church, 418 Kellys Way.

Proceeds from the sale of annual and perennial plants and plant accessories will go to maintain the parklet at the bridge.

In addition to the plant sale, group members plan to place planters in downtown East Brady.

The group is accepting donations for the flowers and materials. They can be sent to Carolyn Olszak, 708 Grant St., East Brady PA 16028.

The group, which meets at 6 p.m. every third Thursday of the month now through October at Olszak’s home, welcomes new members and guests.
