The Butler County Community College softball team ended the season with a sweep of the Community College of Beaver County at home Saturday.

BC3 won 13-5 in Game 1 before grinding out a 3-2 win in the nightcap.

Kate Myers, a Slippery Rock High School graduate, drove in four runs in the first game and earned the win in the circle.

Beyona Eckstein (Butler) tripled and singled, Sarah Steedle (Knoch) singled twice and drove in two runs and Karsan Simpson (Knoch) singled and doubled.

Aubrey Schmeider (Butler) struck out 12 to help the Pioneers (7-7) win Game 2. Jhoey DeWalt (Knoch) also singled twice.
