Victor Sellers

Victor W. Sellers Jr., 82, of Butler passed away Friday at his home.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1932, in Butler, the son of the late Victor Wayne Sellers Sr. and Lucy C. (Morello) Sellers.

Vic retired from Armco in April of 1994 after 42 years of service.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed building and racing stock cars in his earlier years and later enjoyed building and flying radio controlled planes, riding his Harley sportster and hanging with friends.

Surviving are his daughter, Alex (Ronald) Rzesniowiecki of California; his two sons, Victor W. Sellers III and Thomas (Stephanie) Sellers, both of Butler; his six grandchildren, Shannon and Craig, Matthew and Joseph, and Christina and Zachary; his two sisters, Frances (Ralph) Huselton and Patricia (William) Kemper, all of Butler; and his brother, Robert (Dina) Sellers of New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.

Sellers — A memorial service for Victor W. Sellers Jr., who passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, will be at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be private.For more information, go to www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
