Butler Township police and fire crews move an injured motorist over railroad tracks to an ambulance following a one-vehicle wreck Wednesday evening in the 100 block of East Jefferson Street near Hospital Way. The driver, Fredrick Killmeyer, 53, of Chicora, lost control of his car about 6 p.m. and crashed over a hillside in Butler Township, police said. Rescuers found the car on the railroad tracks with Killmeyer inside. He was alert, but he had to be removed from the vehicle. A medical helicopter later flew him to a Pittsburgh hospital with unknown injuries. His condition was not known this morning.
