JOBLESS RATE
Butler County's unemployment rate for January fell to 5.2 percent, representing the lowest rate in the nine-county region. Seven of the counties have lower rates than in December, while the other two counties remained the same. January's seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers are in bold type. The numbers in smaller type are month-earlier rates.
